His Majesty Sultan Haitham and President El-Sisi exchange orders

Cairo: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and President Abdul Fattah el Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt have exchanged orders at El-Ittihadiya Palace in Cairo this evening, marking His Majesty’s visit to Egypt.

The Egyptian President conferred on His Majesty the Sultan the “Order of the Nile”, which is Egypt’s most supreme accolade. The conferment of the Order demonstrates the President’s deep appreciation for His Majesty the Sultan and incarnates the deep-rooted historical relations binding Oman and Egypt.

Meanwhile, His Majesty the Sultan decorated the Egyptian President with “Oman First Order”. The conferment of the Order manifests His Majesty the Sultan’s appreciation for the Egyptian President and reflects pride over the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries’ peoples.

The exchange of orders was attended by the official delegations of the Omani and Egyptian sides, as well as senior officials in Egypt. – ONA
