HM Sultan Haitham Receives Rwanda President Paul Kagame in Salalah

Salalah (ONA): His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received President Paul Kagame of the Republic of Rwanda at Al Hosn Palace in Salalah today, on the occasion of his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

His Majesty welcomed the distinguished guest, expressing his best wishes for a pleasant and successful visit for him and his accompanying delegation.

An official reception ceremony was held in honour of the President of the Republic of Rwanda. Upon the arrival of the presidential motorcade, a squadron of the Royal Cavalry lined up in salute.

His Majesty accompanied the President to the dais, where the national anthem of Rwanda was played and a 21‑gun salute was fired in his honour.

His Majesty then greeted the official delegation accompanying the President of Rwanda, while the President greeted the Omani side, which included Their Highnesses, Excellencies and military commanders. T

he President of the Republic of Rwanda is accompanied by an official delegation including Olivier Nduhungirehe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Yusuf Murangwa, Minister of Finance and Economic Planning, Antoine Kajangwe, Minister of Trade and Industry, Solange Uwituze, Minister of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources, Juliana Muganza, CEO of Rwanda Development Board, Dan Munyuza, Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Rwanda to the Sultanate of Oman and other officials.
