GCC History and Archaeology Symposium Participants Thank Sultan Haitham for Oman’s Hospitality

Salalah: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a cable of thanks from participants of the 25th Scientific Symposium of the GCC History and Archaeology Association, hosted by the Sultanate of Oman in Salalah from 23 to 26 August 2026.

In their message, the participants expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan for the warm welcome and generous hospitality extended to them during the symposium.

The participants also praised the rich historical heritage and picturesque natural beauty of Dhofar Governorate, as well as the rapid development witnessed by the governorate in tourism, economic and development sectors.

They concluded their message by praying to Allah Almighty to protect His Majesty the Sultan and grant him continued health, well-being and a long life, and to bless the Omani people with further progress, development and prosperity.
