Kuwait road named after late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos

Muscat: The Kuwaiti Cabinet said that the Council of Ministers decision to name the Seventh ring road in the name of  late His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said bin Taimur – in honor of his memory.

The Council stated that this comes based on the superior orders from His Highness the Emir of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to name the late His Majest Sultan Qaboos bin Said, God willing, on one of the major roads in appreciation of the important role he played and the remarkable efforts he exerted in supporting the march of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and issues The Arab and Islamic nations.

It is reported that the Seventh Ring Road starts from the Abu Fatira area when the coastal road joins the Fahaheel highway, and ends at the Sulaibiya area. The length of the seventh ring is approximately 34 km.

The Council held its weekly meeting, at Seif Palace, headed by Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled.
