Kuwait’s Crown Prince meets Omani foreign minister and other GCC nations

Kuwait: Sheikh Sabah Khalid Al Hamad Al Mubarak Al Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait received Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister and his GCC counterparts.

This took place on the sidelines of the 46th extraordinary meeting of the GCC Ministerial Council, held today in Kuwait.

The Kuwaiti Crown Prince expressed his appreciation for the efforts exerted to enhance joint GCC action in various fields in a manner that contributes to achieving further progress and prosperity for the peoples of the GCC states.

On their turn, the Foreign Ministers expressed their thanks to the State of Kuwait for hosting the meeting. They also voiced appreciation to the Crown Prince for his continued support of the GCC march. The meeting touched on regional and international issues of mutual interest.

During the meeting, both sides underscored the importance of intensifying efforts to tackle challenges and boost security and stability in the region. They also reviewed means of enhancing economic and developmental integration among GCC countries.
