

Muscat: More than 6000 new diabetes cases were recorded in the Sultanate of Oman, according to the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI).
The National Center for Statistics and Information revealed that (6,430) new cases of diabetes were recorded in the Sultanate during 2019.
The NCSI stated in a post that the number of cases in Omanis reached 6,115 people, while 315 cases were recorded for Expats
The National Center for Statistics and Information indicated that North Al Batinah Governorate is the highest in terms of diabetes cases, while Musandam Governorate is the lowest in the total number of diabetes cases.
