Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) “30” index closed today at 8,178.76 points, down by 106.5 points, or 1.28 percent, compared to the previous trading session, which ended at 8,285.22 points.
Trading value stood at RO 39,089,554, reflecting a decrease of 15.9 percent from the previous session’s level of RO 46,497,024.
According to the daily report issued by Muscat Stock Exchange, market capitalization declined by 0.689 percent to approximately RO 37.90 billion.
Non-Omani investors purchased shares worth RO 4,846,000, representing 12.40 percent of total trading activity, while sales by non-Omani investors reached RO 6,789,000, accounting for 17.37 percent of total trades.
Net non-Omani investment registered a decrease of RO 1,943,000, equivalent to 4.97 percent.
