MSX 30 Index Closes Lower at 7,772 Points

Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) “30” Index closed today at 7,772.18 points, down by 23.19 points, or 0.30 percent, compared to the previous trading session, which ended at 7,795.37 points.

The total value of traded securities reached RO 37.73 million, reflecting a decline of 11 percent from the previous session’s trading value of RO 42.40 million.

According to data issued by Muscat Stock Exchange, the market capitalization decreased by 0.244 percent to approximately RO 37.04 billion.

Non-Omani investors purchased securities worth RO 3.12 million, representing 8.27 percent of total trading activity. Their sales amounted to RO 5.88 million, accounting for 15.58 percent of total trades.

As a result, net non-Omani investment recorded an outflow of approximately RO 2.76 million, representing a decline of 7.30 percent.
