MSX 30 Index Closes Lower at 7,618 Points
Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed today at 7,618.29 points, down by 52.14 points, or 0.68 percent, compared to the previous trading session, which ended at 7,670.43 points.
The total value of traded securities reached RO 38.73 million, recording an increase of 10.5 percent compared to the previous session’s trading value of RO 38.04 million.
According to the Muscat Stock Exchange report, market capitalization declined by 0.45 percent to approximately RO 36.64 billion.
Non-Omani investors purchased securities worth RO 4.27 million, representing 11.03 percent of total trading activity, while their sales amounted to RO 6.43 million, accounting for 16.61 percent of total trades.
Net non-Omani investment recorded an outflow of RO 2.16 million during the trading session.
