Muscat Stock Exchange Closes Higher with Strong Trading Activity
Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed today at 7,590.62 points, up by 75.48 points, or 1.004 percent, compared to the previous session, which ended at 7,515.14 points.
The total value of traded securities reached RO 46,967,759, marking an increase of 25.94 percent from the previous trading session, which recorded RO 37,294,036.
According to the Muscat Stock Exchange report, market capitalization rose by 0.492 percent to reach approximately RO 36.53 billion.
Non-Omani investors purchased securities worth RO 6.376 million, representing 13.57 percent of total trading activity, while their sales amounted to RO 5.996 million, accounting for 12.77 percent of total trading.
Net non-Omani investment recorded an inflow of approximately RO 379,000.
