Muscat Classic stage of Tour of Oman 2024 road closures announced on Friday

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police announces a partial traffic closure on Friday, 9 February 2024 during the Muscat Classic stage of the Tour of Oman 2024.

In a statement ROP said: “The Royal Oman Police – Directorate of Relations and Security Information – announces a partial traffic closure on Friday, 9 February 2024 during the Muscat Classic stage of the Tour of Oman 2024.

Thus, parking of vehicles is prohibited on both sides of the roads adjacent to the race route as follows:

The race will start at 11 am from Al Mouj Muscat towards Seeb corniche road to Al Mabela Bridge. At Al Mabela traffic lights, it will turn left and then right at Al Salam roundabout to Muscat Expressway. Then, turn left to Rusayl- Nizwa road and continue on Rusayl- Bousher road through Falaj Al Sham, Al Ansab, and Ghala village to reach Al Amerat via Al Jabal road. Then, turn left at Al Mahaj junction to Wadi Adai, turn right to Al Hamriyah, turn left to Qantab via Yeti Hills, turn back to Al Bustan roundabout, and turn left to Al Hamriyah. Then, turn right again to Yeti and left to Qantab, turn left at Al Bustan roundabout to Sadab, and end in front of the State Council.
