Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) “30” index closed today at 7,243.42 points, down by 244.1 points, or 3.260 percent, compared to the previous session, which ended at 7,487.52 points.
The total trading value reached RO 59,539,681, reflecting a decline of 24 percent compared to the previous trading session, which recorded RO 78,291,432.
According to the report issued by Muscat Stock Exchange, market capitalization decreased by 1.333 percent from the previous trading day to approximately RO 35.87 billion.
Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 5,540,000, representing 9.30 percent of total trading activity, while non-Omani sales amounted to RO 6,571,000, accounting for 11.04 percent.
Net non-Omani investment declined by RO 1,031,000, representing a decrease of 1.73 percent.
