Muscat Stock Exchange Index Falls 93 Points
Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) 30 Index closed today at 7,489.17 points, down by 93.1 points, or 1.23 percent, compared to the previous session’s close of 7,582.24 points.
Trading value increased to RO 33.38 million, recording a rise of 17.7 percent from RO 28.36 million in the previous session, according to data issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange.
Market capitalisation declined by 0.489 percent to approximately RO 36.52 billion, compared to the previous trading day.
Non-Omani investors purchased shares worth RO 2.54 million, representing 7.62 percent of the total trading value, while their sales amounted to RO 3.15 million, accounting for 9.46 percent of total trades.
As a result, net non-Omani investment recorded an outflow of RO 610,000, equivalent to 1.83 percent of the total trading value.
