    • Official: Oman appoint Rashid Jabir as national football team coach

    Muscat: Oman Football Association (OFA) announced the appointment of Rashid Jaber Al Yaf’ee as coach of the National Football Team in lieu of Czech JaroslavŠilhavý, who was dismissed recently.

    Rashid Jaber qualified to the new position through his extensive experience in training national teams and local and Arab clubs.

    His most prominent achievements included winning the AFC Cup title in 2022/2023 when he coached Oman’s A’Seeb Club.
