Oman basketball team faces Palestine in FIBA ​​Asia Cup 2025 qualifiers

Doha: The Omani national basketball team will face Palestine team tomorrow in its first match in the FIBA ​​Asia Cup 2025 qualifiers. The qualifiers will be held in the Qatari capital, Doha, from 20 to 22 February.

The national team, led by Tunisian Zuhair bin Al-Sharif Al-Ayashi and his national assistant, Mahmoud bin Ali Ambo Ali, underwent its last training before the match, and the training focused on some individual and collective offensive skills, and shooting operations of all kinds.

The list of the first national basketball team includes 15 players; They are: Mahmoud bin Ali Al-Souli, Saeed bin Obaid Al-Saadi, Hadid bin Abdul-Hakim Beit Bakhit, Rashid bin Muhammad Al-Zuhaibi, Adel bin Sarbukh Al-Batashy, Ahmed bin Rashid Al-Halali, Osama bin Rashid Al-Riyami, Ahmed bin Hamoud Al-Maamari, Saeed bin Ghassan Motwana, and Amjad bin Fadel Al-Hadidi, Saif bin Sheikhan Al-Tobi, Al-Waqqas bin Khalfan Al-Hinai, Hassan bin Hadid Al-Faraji, Abdul-Ridha bin Talib Al-Batashy, Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Qasimi, Zuhair bin Al-Sharif Al-Ayashi as coach, Mahmoud bin Ali Ambu Ali as assistant coach, Ghassan bin Mahasin Al-Busaidi as administrator, and Amer bin Saif Al-Zaidi, a physiotherapist.
