Oman Beach Handball Team Defeats Mongolia 2-0 at Asian Beach Games

Sanya: The Oman national beach handball team secured a 2-0 victory over Mongolia in its opening match of the sixth Asian Beach Games, currently taking place in Sanya, China.

The national team delivered a strong performance, dominating the first half and concluding it with a score of 22-4, led by standout displays from Muhannad Al-Zarrafi, Asaad Al-Hasani, and goalkeeper Hudhaifa Al-Siyabi.

In the second half, Oman maintained its advantage, with the technical staff, led by coach Hamoud Al-Hasani, rotating players to provide broader match exposure. The half ended 22-13, sealing the match in Oman’s favor.

The team will continue its preliminary round fixtures against Thailand on Thursday, followed by matches against the Maldives on Friday, Bangladesh and Jordan on Sunday, and Pakistan on Monday.
