

Effective from date: 11th November 2020, All Airlines Operating in the Sultanate of Oman
Muscat: Based on the decision of the Supreme Committee for dealing with (COVID-19) issued in its meeting on 1st Nov 2020, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announces the below following to all airlines operating in Oman:
a, All passengers arriving in the Sultanate of Oman are required to present a negative coronavirus COVID-19 (PCR-test) conducted, prior to 96 hours to the schedule time of arrival in Oman. The Covid-19 PCR test shall be validated and certified medical test result.
b, A citizen who tests positive after recovering from COVID-19 is allowed to travel to Oman, after providing proof that he/ she has been completed the prescribed quarantine period before taking the COVID-19 (PCR-test) prior to departure from Oman.
c, The Quarantine period is revised to 7 days from the date of arrival in Oman, if the passenger has negative results of a COVID-19 (PCR-test) conducted on the 8th day. If the passenger does not wish to undertake a COVID-19 (PCR-test) on the 8th day, the quarantine will continue for (14- days) from the date of arrival.
d, Children of age fifteen (15) years and below are exempted from the Coronavirus (COVID-19 PCR-tests) and from the tracking wristband.
e, Diplomats working at foreigner embassies accredited to Oman and diplomates visiting Oman are exempted from the coronavirus COVID-19 requirements for passengers to and from Oman.
f, The other requirements issues in the previous circulars shall be implemented
g, This circular will be effect from 11th November 2020, and all airlines must take the necessary measures to ensure that the requirements to enter the Sultanate under this circular and any other previous circulars are implemented.
Legal action will be taken against the offending airlines.
