Oman chairs Gulf-US ministerial meeting

New York: The Sultanate of Oman today chaired the joint ministerial meeting between the foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and His Excellency Anthony Blinken, US Secretary of State, which was held in New York.

The Gulf side was headed by His Excellency Sayyed Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, with the participation of His Excellency the Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council. The meeting discussed Gulf-American partnership relations, cooperation in the political, economic and security fields, consultation and exchange of visions on a number of regional and international developments.

Based on the keenness of both sides to support efforts and endeavors aimed at reaching peaceful solutions and settlements to various issues and crises, in a way that contributes to the establishment of security and stability.
