Oman Journalists Association Football Championship Concludes

Muscat: The Oman Journalists Association Football Championship concluded today with Al Shabiba Newspaper team crowned the title after its victory over the Oman Newspaper team 3-0 in the final.

The final match was held under the auspices of His Excellency Mohammed bin Saeed Al Balushi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information.

The Oman News Agency team achieved third place in the tournament after defeating the radio team 6/2 in the match to determine the third and fourth places.

In conclusion, His Excellency Mohammed bin Saeed Al Balushi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Information, sponsor of the final match, honored the teams that won the first three places with medals and cups, in addition to honoring the best player in the tournament, best goalkeeper and top scorer, and honoring the match referees.

It is noteworthy that the tournament witnessed the participation of 8 teams representing a number of different media institutions, who were distributed into two groups, with 4 teams in each group. General Administration and Financial Affairs of the Ministry of Information, Julphar Company (Department of Information and Public Relations), Oman Newspaper and Shabiba Newspaper.
