Oman Invests RO 16.77 Million in Electricity Projects in South Al Batinah

A’Rustaq (ONA): Nama Electricity Distribution Company is implementing a number of electricity development projects in South Al Batinah Governorate to the tune of more than RO 16.77 million.

The projects aim to enhance the stability of the electricity grid, increase energy reserve capacity and operational flexibility, minimize losses and ensure compliance with grid safety standards across the governorate’s wilayats. The company said that the new projects constitute part of its plans to bolster grid reliability and keep pace with the ongoing urban planning and economic growth in South Al Batinah.
