Oman’s Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth Receives Indian Ambassador

Muscat: His Highness Sayyid Dhi Yazan bin Haitham Al Said, the Honorable Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, received HE Munu Muhawer, the Indian ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman.

In a statement ONA said: His Highness Sayyid Dhi Yazan bin Haitham bin Tarik Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, during his meeting with His Excellency Munu Muhawer, the Ambassador of the Republic of India accredited to the Sultanate, reviews aspects of joint cooperation existing in the cultural, sports and youth fields were discussed.

During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, discussed aspects of joint cooperation existing in the cultural, sports and youth fields, and exchanged views on ways to enhance and develop them.

It should be noted that the Sultanate and the Republic of India signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of cultural cooperation on 12/7/2010.
