Oman Ministry of Transport announces rehabilitation tender to repair Liwa road

Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology revealed on its Twitter account that it will issue a tender for the rehabilitation of Fazah – Al Rassa road in Liwa state, during the current period, as it is aware of the importance of its maintenance, and confirmed that it is following the status of the road and realizes the importance of its maintenance.

After a video clip went viral on social media showing trucks on the Farah-Al Rassa road and cracks and potholes, explaining the amount of dirt and pollution that it raises, calling for speedy maintenance and repair of the road.

The ministry’s tweet read: “With reference to the circulating passage regarding Fazah-Al-Rassa road in Liwa state, the ministry wishes to clarify that it is a follow-up to the status of the road and is aware of the importance of road maintenance, as a qualification tender will be launched during this period.”
