Muscat: Sayyid Khalid Bin Hamad Bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Chairman of the Oman Olympic Committee, received in his office today the goalkeeper of the first national football team, Ali Al Habsi, to honor him and to extend his thanks and appreciation to him on behalf of the Olympic Committee and the sports family on the occasion of his retirement from football.
This honor comes as a tribute to goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi for the effort and dedication he made during his football career, which was full of many honorable achievements that he achieved at the level of the national team and the clubs that he represented well in his professional career and will remain engraved in the history of Omani sports.
Ali Al-Habsi is considered one of the most Arab football superstars and he became an honorable model for future generations which won him the love of sports fans not only at the local level, but also in the Gulf, Arab, Asian and international levels.
