Oman participates in ALECSO first “Twinning of Arab Universities” forum in Tunisia

Tunisia: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the University of Technology and Applied Sciences, participates in the first ALECSO Forum for the Twinning of Arab Universities, organized by the Arab Organization for Education, Culture and Science in the Republic of Tunisia.

The forum aims for the actual and scientific contribution of ALECSO, Arab universities, and relevant Arab and international bodies and institutions, to achieve the general goals of the Arab strategy for scientific and technological research and innovation, in addition to the actual and practical application of the strategy’s implementation mechanisms, in addition to supporting the initiatives of participating Arab universities that realize the strategy, and open more Participation and cooperation between ALECSO, Arab universities, and Arab and international academic and research bodies and institutions.

The forum opened its activities today, and will continue for two days in partnership with Arab and international universities and institutions, including Al-Fanar Media, the Union for the Mediterranean Foundation, and Human Restart International, which comes within the framework of strengthening joint Arab action and supporting scientific research to implement the “Arab Research Strategy.” Scientific, Technological, and Innovation,” which the 28th Arab Summit entrusted the organization with the task of following up on its implementation, in coordination with the General Secretariat of the League of Arab States.
