Oman participates in Arab Monetary Fund, Arab Finance Ministers Council meetings

Rabat: The Sultanate of Oman participated in the opening session of the Arab Monetary Fund’s joint annual meetings of financial authorities, and the 14th meeting of the Arab Finance Minister Council in Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco.

His Excellency Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, headed the delegation of the Sultanate of Oman participating in the meetings, which witnessed the participation of: the Arab Monetary Fund, the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development, the Arab Authority for Agricultural Investment and Development, the Arab Corporation for Investment and Export Credit Guarantee, and the Arab Bank for Economic Development in Africa.

In the joint speech of the Arab financial institutions, which he delivered during his presidency of the opening session of the annual meetings, His Excellency Sultan bin Salem Al Habsi referred to the joint efforts made by financial institutions, especially their effective role in financing many development programs, and their dealing with development challenges resulting from geopolitical events.
