Oman participates in Tehran International Conference on Palestine

Tehran: The Sultanate of Oman participated today in the Tehran International Conference on Palestine, which was held in the Iranian capital, Tehran, under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Raisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Sultanate of Oman’s delegation to the conference was headed by His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Harithi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs. In a speech before the conference, His Excellency affirmed the position of the Sultanate of Oman to condemn and denounce the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Gaza Strip and demand an immediate ceasefire and allow the entry of humanitarian aid.

His Excellency expressed the Sultanate of Oman’s rejection of all the reasons and pretexts being used to justify Israel’s continuation of this genocide of the Palestinian people, which exceeded the standards of reaction, the principles of international law, and humanitarian values.

The conference discussed the effects of the Israeli war on the Gaza Strip, and emphasized support for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people to achieve their legitimate rights and establish their independent state on the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.
