Doha: The Qatari capital, Doha, is hosting the fifth Gulf Narration Forum, with the participation of writers and critics from the Sultanate of Oman and the member states of the Gulf Cooperation Council, in addition to others from Jordan and Morocco.
The forum will be held over two days at the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and will be held in implementation of the principles of the Gulf Cultural Strategy, which includes many joint Gulf events.
The Gulf Narration Forum aims to enhance cultural communication and establish the art of narration in Arab culture in the GCC countries, and to emphasize the importance of the classical Arabic language and promote the trend towards expressing it through the art of narration as one of the main arts in Arab culture.
