In a statement : His Excellency Mr. Badr Al-Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, said on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Sultanate and the Republic of the Philippines that it is an occasion through which to review what has been accomplished, and to look forward to achieving cooperation in various fields.

His Excellency also expressed his thanks and appreciation for the good feelings expressed by His Excellency Foreign Minister Teodoro Locsin on this occasion, and to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Philippine government for their continuous support for the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, stressing the Sultanate’s keenness to develop it towards broader horizons in the service of common interests.
