    • Oman Ready for Gulf Cup’26 Opener Against Kuwait

    Kuwait: All eyes will be on the anticipated opening match of the 26th Arabian Gulf Cup, which will bring together our national football team and its Kuwaiti counterpart at the start of its journey in the group stage competitions at 9 pm Oman time at Jaber Al-Ahmad International Stadium in the Kuwaiti capital. The match will be preceded by the official opening ceremony of the tournament at 8 pm Oman time.

    The ceremony will include many diverse segments, accompanied by the latest sound technologies and lighting effects.

    Oman national team realizes that winning tomorrow’s match and achieving the three points is the key to an ideal start in its journey in the tournament in the first round competitions, which will also witness the confrontation between the Qatari and Emirati teams at exactly 11:00 pm Oman time at Jaber Al Mubarak Al Sabah Stadium.

    Rashid Jaber, the coach of our national team, said: “Our preparations are good for the Gulf Cup, which is an important event for us. Our goal in the first stage is to qualify from the group stage. We realize how difficult the matches are because the teams are participating in the first rows to compete for the title, and to prepare for the rest of the Asian qualifiers for the World Cup.”
