Muscat (ONA): Oman Real Estate Association today organized a forum in Muscat on using innovation, digital solutions and artificial intelligence (AI) in the Omani real estate sector.
The forum was held under the auspices of Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ).
The forum dealt with several topics related to the future of the real estate sector, including the role of digital asset management in cutting costs, improving investor experience in using predictive analytics, designing smart, energy-efficient neighborhoods and using artificial intelligence, in addition to the role of the Real Estate Development Services Center in supporting and regulating the sector.
The forum included a panel discussion to exchange experiences on the future of modern technologies in the real estate environment. It also saw the launch of Oman Real Estate Association’s electronic platform and the signing of several memoranda of cooperation aimed at expanding partnerships and enhancing services and initiatives offered to parties operating in the real estate sector or interested to engage in the sector.
Hassan bin Khamis Al Ruqaishi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Oman Real Estate Association, said that the forum reflects the association’s keenness on utilizing innovation and modern technologies and its determination to undertake action to upgrade initiatives that contribute to developing the real estate sector and enhancing its ability to keep pace with future demands.
Al Ruqaishi added that the Association seeks to transform innovation and AI from ideas into practical tools that generate real value for the real estate sector and the national economy at large.
He pointed out that the forum was in pursuance of Oman Real Estate Association’s vision to establish a more innovative, efficient and sustainable real estate sector and to consolidate cooperation among the various stakeholders in the real estate system, in line with the economic and urban development trends of the Sultanate of Oman.
