Oman Property Market Sees 18% Growth in Q1 2026

Muscat:  The total value of real estate transactions in the Sultanate of Oman rose by 18.4 percent to RO 678.1 million by the end of March 2026, compared to RO 572.7 million during the same period in 2025.

Data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) showed that the value of sale contracts reached RO 304.9 million across 15,895 transactions, reflecting a 0.5 percent increase in the number of contracts.

The value of mortgage contracts increased by 16.4 percent to RO 369.3 million across 6,603 contracts, compared to RO 317.1 million across 5,344 contracts during the corresponding period last year.

Meanwhile, the value of exchange contracts rose by 22.1 percent to RO 3.9 million across 199 contracts, compared to RO 3.2 million across 354 contracts during the same period in 2025.

The number of issued property title deeds reached 45,789 by the end of March 2026, marking a decline of 17.3 percent compared to 55,378 deeds during the same period last year.

Title deeds issued to GCC nationals totalled 225, down by 45.9 percent from 416 recorded during the corresponding period in 2025.
