Muscat: Oman to ban all commercial activities throughout the day starting from Saturday 8 May

In a statement Oman news agency said: Ban to continue on all commercial activities and to prohibit the movement of people and vehicles with effect from 9am to 4am until 8 may 2021, in all governorates of the Sultanate as per the earlier decision.

The movement of people and vehicles to be banned, starting from 7 pm until 4 am, from Saturday May 8, 2021 until May 15, 2021, with the exception of segments announced earlier.

Also decided to ban all commercial activities throughout the day, staring from Saturday 8th May 2021 until the end of May 15, All with the exception of food stores, gas stations, health institutions and pharmacies, and home delivery services for all goods are allowed during the aforementioned ban period.

Not to hold Eid prayers and traditional Eid markets and prohibit gatherings of all kinds in various locations, including beaches, parks and public parks, during the days of the blessed Eid al-Fitr, and include gatherings of families, greeting gatherings and collective celebrations of Eid.
