Oman to form working group to monitor and follow up health indicators for partial or complete night closure: Minister of health

Muscat: His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Muhammad Al-Saeedi issued Ministerial Decree No. 155/2020 to form a work team to monitor and follow up health indicators for partial or complete night closures.

Based on the Royal Decree No. 36/2014 defining the terms of reference of the Ministry of Health and approving its organizational structure, and the Royal Decree No. 80/2020 approving the organizational structure of the Ministry of Health, and the Infectious Diseases Control Law by Royal Decree No. 73/92.

Article One

A working group is formed to monitor and follow up health indicators for partial or complete night closures in the governorate / governorates of the whole of the Sultanate headed by Dr. Saif bin Salem bin Saif al-Abri, Director General of Disease Control and Control, and the membership of:

Dr. Kazem bin Jaafar Suleiman, Director General of Specialized Medical Care,

Dr. Saeed Bin Hareb bin Manna Al-Lamki, Director General of Primary Health Care

Dr. Halima Bint Qalam bin Khamis Al-Hinai, a Senior Consultant Physician at the General Directorate of Planning and Studies.

Article Two

The team specializes in monitoring and following up health indicators that allow the Higher Committee in charge of research to deal with developments resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus (Covid 19) to make decisions about imposing partial or complete night closures in the Sultanate.

Article Three

The team may seek the assistance of any specialists and technicians it deems appropriate in order to perform its tasks.
