

Muscat: The Supreme Committee in charge of Examining the mechanism to deal with developments resulting from the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) under the chairmanship of his His Excellency Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al Busaidy, Minister of Interior has followed the developments of this pandemic measures to prevent it and ways to avoid its spread.
The Supreme Committee have reviewed the reports on the lockdown of the governorates, which started on 25th July 2020 till August 8th 2020.
Based on the reports the Supreme committee decides the following:
1, Lifting the lockdown between Governorates on Saturday morning 8 August 2020 at 6am, and cutting the movement ban time duration in all the Sultanate to be from 9:00 pm till 5:00 am morning as of Saturday evening 8 August 2020 until Saturday morning 15 August 2020.
2, Keeping the lockdown on Dhofar Governorate until further notice, considering the epidemiological indicators.
