Oman to open PCR test centre at border entry points for travelers entering

Muscat: The Ministry of Health (MOH) recently signed an agreement with Oman Airports and the Supply International Company, to provide a PCR test at border entry points for the travelers entering  the Sultanate.

The agreement was signed by the Ministry of Health by Dr. Fatima bint Muhammad bin Baqir Al-Ajmeya, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Administrative, Financial and Planning Affairs, and Oman Airports Sheikh Ayman bin Ahmed Al Hosani, Chief Executive Officer CEO, and Abdul Raziq bin Ali Al Sabbagh, CEO of Supply International Company.

The signing was held in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser Al Zaabi, CEO of the Civil Aviation Authority, and along with a number of officials from the Ministry of Health, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Oman Airports, Supply International Company and the Royal Oman Police.

It is worth mentioning that MOH has signed a contract with Medical Mushrif Company in order to register the travels entering the Sultanate in Tarrasud+, as well as to install the digital bracelets for the travels.

A laboratory has been provided at Muscat International Airport, and another laboratory will be installed at Salalah International Airport, in order to accelerate the process of extracting PCR test results
