    Parking Heavy Trucks in Residential Areas Poses Safety and Traffic Risks, says Muscat municipality

    Muscat: Parking trucks and heavy equipment within residential neighborhoods can pose risks to public safety and affect the quality of life of residents, particularly children and pedestrians.

    The practice can also contribute to noise and environmental pollution, obstruct traffic and the movement of emergency vehicles, and potentially damage underground infrastructure.

    Residents and vehicle owners are encouraged to avoid parking heavy trucks and equipment in residential areas and to use designated locations where available.
