Mecca: The Omani Hajj mission announced today the death of Said Abdullah Al-Rahb, a 79-year-old Omani pilgrim who passed away in the Holy Land after performing the farewell circumambulation of Haj rituals (Tawaf Al-Wadaa).
Sultan Said al-Hinai, Head of the Omani Hajj mission, said in a statement to Oman News Agency: “The mission’s team is taking the necessary measures to finalize related procedures in cooperation with the concerned authorities of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in the presence of the relatives of the deceased. He prayed to the Almighty Allah to rest the deceased’s soul in the abodes of Heaven and grant his relatives patience and solace.
