Nawaf Al-Ghadani Selected for Technical Committee at Asian Games

Muscat: The Asian Sailing Federation has selected Omani referee Nawaf bin Yaqoub Al-Ghadani to serve on the technical committee overseeing sailing competitions at the sixth Asian Beach Games, scheduled to be held in Sanya, People’s Republic of China.

The selection follows his official accreditation as a national referee for sailing races.

Al-Ghadani is among the prominent sailing judges in the Sultanate of Oman, with over 13 years of experience in officiating local, regional and international championships.

His experience includes supervising competitions such as Mussanah Sailing Week and the Oman Sailing Championship since 2016, in addition to participation in technical committees at the Arab Sailing Championship, Gulf Youth Games and Gulf Beach Games.

He has also contributed to major international events, including the World Youth Sailing Championship, the 49er and 49er FX World Championships, the World Beach Games and the World Para Sailing Championship hosted by the Sultanate of Oman.
