Hotel Revenues in Oman Reach RO 96.2 Million by End of April 2026

Muscat: Total revenues of three- to five-star hotels in the Sultanate of Oman reached RO 96.152 million by the end of April 2026, while the number of guests stood at 696,911, according to the latest data issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI).

The data showed that Omani guests topped the list of hotel visitors, with their number increasing by 3.5 percent to reach 246,934 guests compared to the corresponding period in 2025.

European guests ranked second with 220,015 guests, followed by visitors from Asia with 106,189 guests. Citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries accounted for 40,322 guests, while guests from other Arab countries totaled 25,714.

The number of guests from the Americas reached 23,992, while visitors from Oceania totaled 7,083 and those from Africa reached 5,054.

The occupancy rate of three- to five-star hotels stood at 50.2 percent by the end of April 2026.

Statistics also indicated a decline of 15.9 percent in the total number of guests compared to the same period in 2025, when hotels received 829,052 guests. Hotel revenues decreased by 12.2 percent from RO 109.484 million recorded during the corresponding period last year.
