Oman’s Chairman of State Council Receives Bahrain’s Representatives Council Speaker, Arab Parliament Speaker

Muscat: Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council received here today Fawzia Abdulla Zainal, Speaker of Bahrain’s Council of Representatives.

Al Khalili lauded the bilateral relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain, while expressing his keenness to develop cooperation in all spheres.

On her turn, the Speaker of Bahrain’s Council of Representatives wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity.

Meanwhile, Al Khalili also received Dr. Adel Abdulrahman Al Asoomi, Speaker of the Arab Parliament.

Al Khalili underscored the Sultanate of Oman’s keenness in actively participating in the Arab Parliament. The cooperation between Oman and the Arab Parliament, he added, comes in a bid to enhance joint Arab action.

On his turn, Al Asoomi also commended Oman’s role and support, as well as the role of the State Council and its contribution to upgrading the performance of the Arab Parliament.
