Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister received here today US Special Envoy for Yemen Tim Lenderking. During the meeting, the two sides discussed the latest developments pertaining to the sustainability of the truce in Yemen.
They stressed the importance of collaborative work to build confidence and enhance dialogue among all parties.
The two sides also expressed their keenness to support the international efforts, including the missions of the UN Envoy to Yemen, towards ending the war and commencing a comprehensive political process that meets aspirations of the Yemeni people to achieve security, peace and stability for their country.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Foreign Minister’s Office Department, the US Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman and several officials from both sides.
