The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs (MERA) wins fifth place in the International Hashemite Competition for Memorizing the Holy Quran in Jordan

Amman: The Omani memorizer contestant, Ohood bint Khamis bin Khalaf Al Busaidiyah, won fifth place in memorizing the entire Holy Qur’an, in the Hashemite International Competition for Memorizing and Reciting the Holy Qur’an in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

41 contestants participated in this international competition in memorizing the entire Holy Qur’an, out of 39 countries, organized by the Ministry of Endowments, Islamic Affairs and Sanctities in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

This comes as part of the efforts of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs in the Sultanate of Oman – represented by the Holy Quran Department – to participate in international competitions, making serving the Holy Quran and its sciences among its priorities, and to encourage memorizing and reciting the Book of Allah Almighty.
