Oman’s Mubarak Al Wahaibi wins bronze at Arab Federation Cup in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Oman’s national billiard player Mubarak Al-Wahaibi wins the bronze medal in Arab Federation Cup for Billiards and Snooker, hosted by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with the participation of 12 Arab teams.

The Qatari team won four medals in the Arab Federation Cup for Billiards and Snooker for men and women held at the Egyptian Federation of Billiards and Snooker Hall in Cairo over ten days with the participation of 14 countries.

Oman’s National team player Mubarak Al-Wahaibi won the bronze after his victory in the round of 16 against Saudi Khaled Al-Otaibi 6-7, and his victory in the quarter-finals against the Lebanese Mazen Al-Berjawi 7-6, and his loss in the semi-finals from Kuwaiti Ahmed Al-Dulaimi 5-8.

The 32nd round of the billiards tournament witnessed exciting and strong competitions. In the preliminary round, the national team player Mubarak Al-Wahibi defeated the Saudi Youssef Al-Khelaiwi 7-5. with a score of 7-3. In the round of 32, the national team player, Mubarak Al-Wahaibi, achieved a difficult victory over the Iraqi Karrar, 7-6, and Muhammad Al-Balushi defeated the Algerian Issa Hisham, 7-4, while Hamza Al-Awaidi defeated the Bahraini Abdul Karim, 7-4.
