

Muscat: Mosques in Oman to reopen for prayers from Tomorrow, Sunday 15th November 2020, with strict measures in place to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

The Supreme Committee decided to allow reopening mosques, which have a capacity to accommodate not less than 400 persons for the five obligatory prayers, as of Sunday 15 November 2020.
Mosques to be opened at the prayer’s adhan for a period not exceeding 25 minutes including prayer time. All religious books and Holy Quran shall be completely removed, and all drinking water coolers and washrooms shall be kept completely closed. It is highly important that all prayers adhere to maintaining a safe distance, wearing masks and sanitizing hands.
