Pakistan Announces Hosting Role for US-Iran Peace Agreement Signing Ceremony

Islamabad: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif announced today that Pakistan will host the signing ceremony of an agreement between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran aimed at ending the conflict that has continued for more than three months.

Speaking before the National Assembly, Sharif said that the signing ceremony will be held next Friday in Geneva, according to Pakistan’s Dawn newspaper.

He added that the two sides had agreed to an immediate and permanent cessation of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon.

Sharif described the agreement as a significant development in efforts to achieve peace, noting that the announcement followed more than three months of diplomatic efforts.

He said that the ceasefire agreement marks a new phase aimed at ending hostilities and supporting regional stability.
