    Qatar begins dismantling of World Cup Stadium 974 containers after the last match between Brazil and South Korea.

    According to a report, the dismantled stadium will be rebuilt in Uruguay for World Cup 2030 

    Matches in the stadium have only been scheduled during evening hours when temperatures are comparatively coolers than the daytime, due to its lack of air-conditioning. 

    World Cup Stadium 974 is hosting 7 games in total. The stadium is an ode to Qatar’s commitment to cost-effective sustainability and is the first fully demountable covered football stadium.

    This venue pays tribute to Qatar’s long standing tradition of worldwide trade and seafaring. Not only is 974 the international dialing code for Qatar, but it is also the exact number of shipping containers used in construction. Situated in the Portside areas and in sight of Doha’s coastal cityscape, fans at World Cup Stadium 974 will feel the cool breeze as it cools in from the Arabian Gulf.
