Doha: Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) closed lower today, with its benchmark index declining by 116.10 points, or 1.1 percent, to end trading at 10,438.86 points.
During the session, a total of 171.4 million shares were traded, with a combined value of QAR 583.1 million (approximately USD 160.1 million) across 66,297 transactions covering all sectors.
Shares of 30 listed companies recorded declines, while 18 companies posted gains. Six companies closed unchanged compared to their previous closing prices.
Market capitalisation stood at QAR 626.9 billion at the close of trading, compared to QAR 631.5 billion in the previous session, reflecting a decrease of approximately QAR 4.6 billion.
