ROP Announces Partial Road Closures for Stage Three of Tour of Oman 2026

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), represented by the Directorate of Relations and Security Information, announced a partial closure of traffic on Monday, 9 February 2026, coinciding with the launch of Stage Three of the Tour of Oman 2026.

The ROP stated that parking will be prohibited on both sides of the roads along the race route during the event, to ensure the safety of participants and road users.

The third stage will commence at 10:05 a.m. from the Al-Fayha area in Samail, in the Governorate of Al-Dakhiliyah. The race will proceed along Sultan Thuwaini bin Said Road, continue to the Wadi Muharram exit, and then move along Wadi Andam Road.

Cyclists will turn right onto Al-Quraitain Road, continuing towards the Wilayat of Izki, where they will turn right onto Al-Rahba Road. The route will then pass through the Ghabra Nizwa area, head towards Wadi Kamah, and reach Tanouf via Al-Hawta Cave in the Wilayat of Al-Hamra.

The third stage will conclude with the ascent to Musfah Al-Abriyin.

The Royal Oman Police called on road users to exercise caution, adhere to traffic instructions, and cooperate with security personnel to ensure the smooth running of the event.
