    Muscat: ROP arrests five Asian drug smugglers with over 11kg of crystal drug seized.

    In a statement ROP said: The General Administration for Combating Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, in cooperation with the Coast Guard Police led by the North Al Batinah Governorate Police, arrested five Asians on charges of smuggling and possessing narcotic substances with the intention of trafficking in them, and entering the country illegally, in conjunction with international gangs, and seized their possession of 10 kilograms of hashish, in addition to To 11 kilograms of crystal drug, hidden on a beach in the governorate, and legal procedures are being completed against them.

    The Royal Oman Police thanks the citizens and residents for their cooperation in combating the scourge of drugs by reporting any information that helps to uncover smugglers and promoters, and calls on them to immediately report any suspects or illegal infiltrators into the country, as they represent an economic and health burden on society.
