

Salalah: The Salalah Mountain Bike Race in its second edition, accompanying the 2023 Salalah International Tour, was held today in Wadi Sahalnut in the Wilayat of Salalah in the Dhofar Governorate, organized by the Municipality of Dhofar as part of the Dhofar Serb activities in cooperation with the Omani Cycling Federation. 88 participants from 22 countries participated in the 18 km race.
The race consisted of 3 laps, each lap 6 km long, at an altitude of 780 meters above sea level.
The cyclist Shabib Al Balushi from the Sultanate of Oman was crowned the champion of the Salalah mountain bike race at the elite level, and at the level of the over 40 years category, cyclist Muhammad Al Kindi from the Sultanate of Oman was crowned first place, and at the level of the youth category under 23 years, cyclist Yahya Al Qasimi from the Sultanate of Oman was crowned first place. First, in the women’s category, Lebanese cyclist Marwa Al-Hajj won first place.
